Instructor Name:
Lynn Douglass
Instructor Bio:
Lynn Douglass is an award-winning quilter who was born into a family of makers. Making things for the home and for those you love was a way of life that continued into adulthood with creative pursuits including woodworking, jewelry making and sewing.
In 2002, Lynn decided to check out a quilt shop in her neighborhood. She signed up for a class and was soon working part-time at the quilt shop. Her love of reating found a new passion in quilting. One of her co-workers suggested that Lynn would be good at longarm machine quilting. In 2004, Lynn bought her first longarm and
opened for business a month later.
During the next 14 years, Lynn quilted for customers, quilt shops, fabric and pattern designers and quilt show vendors, winning a number of ribbons.
In 2018, Lynn and her husband retired and she found herself itching to create--to quilt. She set up a studio in her downstairs den, bought a HQ Forte with Pro Stitcher and opened Little White Dog Quilting. As a Handi Quilter National Educator, she is excited about continuing to share her passion and love of creating with others.
Lynn is a California native and currently resides in Fountain, Colorado, with her husband of 32 years, a little
white dog, and four rescue cats.
